Your photos and information
iPut is published by Kalyankumar Chindam, acting personally as publisher and data controller. This notice explains how the app handles photos, location, purchases and support.
Information on your device
iPut processes camera images to add a visible stamp and image metadata. Depending on permissions, available sensor information and your selections, photos and local records can include date/time and timezone, coordinates, location accuracy, a geocoder address, altitude, travel direction, Job / Reference text, project or client details, custom text and a chosen logo.
The photo index, projects, settings, copied logos and unfinished capture recovery files are stored in app storage. Finished photos are saved to your system photo library. The app may also create local working files and copies for processing, exports and sharing.
Visible-stamp switches do not remove the underlying captured GPS, time or reference metadata. Information that is not visible on the image can still be present in its metadata, an index backup or an available export.
Permissions and location lookup
- Camera: used to take photos. The current app does not request microphone access.
- Foreground location: used to include available location and assess its accuracy. It does not request background or always-on location. Location can be disabled; date/time-only capture remains available.
- Photo saving and reading: used to save images, display indexed photos and verify the saved asset. Full read access may be required for verification. Android media-location access permits reading the original saved location metadata.
With location enabled and network service available, the app can send an eligible fix’s coordinates to the platform’s reverse-geocoding service to obtain an address. This lookup does not require a separate address-button action. iPut does not upload the photo to obtain an address. On iOS, this is Apple’s geocoding service. The platform service handles the lookup according to its own practices; an address is an estimate. See Apple’s Location Services disclosure.
Accounts, advertising and purchases
The current app has no user-created iPut account, advertising SDK or custom photo-storage backend. RevenueCat’s purchase analytics are described below.
Purchase and entitlement requests contact RevenueCat and the platform store. These requests can occur when the app checks access to Pro, as well as when you buy or restore a purchase.
Purchase information
RevenueCat and the platform store process purchase history and entitlement information to validate transactions and enable purchased features. RevenueCat also uses purchase history for its dashboard analytics.
iPut does not send photo content, coordinates or support email as RevenueCat customer attributes. Read RevenueCat’s Apple privacy disclosure guidance.
RevenueCat uses an SDK-managed anonymous app user ID to associate purchases with access to Pro. This identifier is not an iPut login, but it still allows purchase records to be associated with the app’s customer record. Retention by the store and RevenueCat follows their service practices. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
Sharing, support and platform services
When you choose to share a photo, index backup or available report/export, the destination you select receives that content. Backups can contain project/client information, photo metadata, references and settings, but do not contain the gallery images themselves.
Kalyankumar Chindam personally handles support emails. If you email support, your email provider and the support mailbox process your message, email address and any attachments you send so your request can be answered. Share only what is necessary. The app does not automatically submit a support report.
Device and platform backup or photo-sync services may copy app data or photos according to your device settings. Local storage is not a promise that your device never synchronizes data to a cloud service.
The publisher has not configured Apple analytics or crash reporting for iPut. This does not mean Apple collects no diagnostic information: Apple’s processing depends on its services and your device settings. RevenueCat purchase analytics are described above. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
This support website
This website uses GitHub Pages hosting. GitHub records and stores visitors’ IP addresses for security, whether or not the visitor is signed in to GitHub. See GitHub’s Pages documentation and its General Privacy Statement for its practices.
These pages do not include analytics scripts, advertising trackers, external fonts, embedded content or forms. Following a link to another service, or opening your email application to contact support, brings that service’s own practices into use.
Retention and deletion
Resolved support correspondence and attachments are deleted within 90 days after resolution, unless particular information must be kept to meet an actual legal obligation or resolve an ongoing dispute. In those cases, only the necessary information is retained for as long as needed. You can request earlier deletion by emailing support; any applicable retention requirement will be explained.
Unfinished captures remain in local recovery storage so you can retry. Successful completion cleans up that capture’s recovery files. Removing the app or clearing app storage can remove local settings, records, logos and unfinished originals. It does not necessarily remove photos already saved to your system photo library.
Deleting a photo in iPut asks the system photo library to delete it after confirmation. Deleting a photo in the gallery can cause its index record to be marked unavailable during later reconciliation; this is not a promise that every local metadata record is erased. Revoking read access alone is not treated as photo deletion.
Gallery trash, backups, synchronized copies and items shared with other services follow those systems’ controls. This page does not promise a fixed retention period or immediate deletion from those systems.
