iPut

How can we help?

iPut adds capture time and available location to photos, then checks the saved gallery asset before confirming success.

Contact support

iPut is published by Kalyankumar Chindam, acting personally.

Email kalyankumar4455@gmail.com. Include your device model, operating system, app version and the error text or steps that led to the problem.

Photos, screenshots and index backups can reveal location, client names and job details. Send only what is needed and remove sensitive information first. Do not send passwords or store credentials.

Find a saved photo

Photos are saved to a named album in your system gallery, “Stamped” by default. The iPut roll keeps an index of those assets. Gallery read access lets the app display and verify them.

Recover an unfinished capture

If the camera produced an image but processing or saving failed, use Retry or open recovery in Settings. When offered, “Save unstamped original” saves the original without an iPut stamp and labels it accordingly. A capture already verified in the gallery cannot use that fallback.

Keep the app installed while you finish recovery: uninstalling it or clearing app storage can remove unfinished originals. If the camera did not produce an image, take a new photo.

Allow the permissions needed for verification

Camera access is needed to take photos. Photo-saving and full photo-read access let iPut save and read back the result. Limited photo access may be insufficient. On Android, media-location access is also used to verify saved GPS metadata. Follow the error’s guidance, change permissions in system Settings, then return to iPut and retry.

Location is optional. Without a usable fix, you can take a date-and-time photo marked “no GPS fix.” iPut uses foreground location; it does not request always-on location or microphone access.

Understand location and addresses

A fresh, accurate fix can display an estimated address from the device’s geocoder. Stale or inaccurate fixes, denied permissions, offline operation or lookup failures can remove the address. The accuracy indicator does not independently prove an address or event.

You can choose another returned address candidate for the same fix. Use Job / Reference for your own site or order information. Travel direction means movement direction, not where the camera is pointing.

Offline use and timestamps

Capture, stamping and gallery saving work offline. Coordinates depend on a fix supplied by the device; address lookup requires available network services. The timestamp comes from your device’s clock and timezone. iPut does not authenticate the clock, and it does not edit an existing burned-in stamp.

Visible text and photo metadata

Hiding coordinates, an address or another stamp line changes the visible stamp. It does not remove the captured GPS, time or reference metadata. Review what a photo and its metadata reveal before sharing.

Index backups and deletion

An index backup contains photo references and metadata, projects and settings. It does not contain the gallery photos themselves. Restore merges records; it cannot restore a deleted photo. Deleting through the app requests gallery deletion after confirmation. If you delete through the gallery, iPut can mark the record unavailable when it next reconciles with readable access.

iPut Pro

iPut Pro is a one-time purchase for custom text and logos, stamp styles/fonts/positions, additional coordinate formats, available altitude and travel direction, persistent projects, PDF reports and metadata CSV. Standard capture remains free. The store shows the actual localized price before purchase; no subscription or cross-platform transfer is promised.

Open the Pro screen to buy, or choose Restore purchases with the same store account used for the purchase. RevenueCat and the store check your entitlement. If a purchase or restore does not complete, check your connection, confirm the store account and try again. Contact support with the error text if you need help; do not send store passwords.
